Harvest ale returns to cask
Our green-hopped harvest ale is back, brewed within hours of the hops leaving the bine.

Hogs Inn Group is a family-run drinks and hospitality company on the Shropshire border. We brew at Monty's, distil at Henstone and keep the fires lit across our four pubs.
From field to fireside
What began as a single coaching inn in Welshpool has grown into a small group that does three things properly: brewing, distilling and hospitality. We malt-mash and mill, run the still by hand, and pour the results across our own bar. Everything we make ends up somewhere we're proud to stand.

Monty's Brewery
Monty's has been brewing small-batch cask and keg beer since 1997 — golden ales, dark milds and modern pales made with Maris Otter malt and water drawn from the hills. Every brew is fermented slowly and racked into cask by hand.

Henstone Distillery
At Henstone we run a copper pot still in a converted dairy building, making a juniper-led London Dry gin alongside seasonal releases and a slowly maturing single malt. Small batches, signed by the distiller, bottled on site.

Our Pubs
From the beams and hearth of Hogs Inn The Pinewood to the snug booths of The Victoria Vaults — via The Tankard and The Breiddan — every pub in the group pours our own beer and gin, cooks from scratch and keeps a dog-friendly welcome seven days a week.
See the pubsThe Hogs Inn range
From the amber malt of Old Hogg Best Bitter to the rosemary lift of Henstone Marches Dry Gin, our range is deliberately small. We'd rather make eight things well than thirty things adequately.
